Avon TZ5 Summer Tire

The Avon Tire company launches its new summer tire for a variety of compact passenger cars such as Ford Fiesta, Volkswagen Polo, Vauxhall Corsa, Citroen C3 and Peugeot 207.The tire belongs to an “Ultra-High Performance” class tires and uses an asymmetrical tread pattern.

The Avon Company has been producing tires for 10 years already. In 1997 it started cooperating with the Cooper Tire & Rubber Co Company. The ZT5 new tire was made in accordance with both companies’ experience and modern technologies.

While working it out the company aimed at creating both comfort and safe tire and it managed to achieve its goal. The tire features good noise control, smooth running, and the high level of safety on the wet.

The asymmetrical tread pattern with 3 wide circumferential grooves ensures excellent wet traction, excellent steering response, as well as provides for minimal braking distance possible. At the same time inner shoulder blocks ensure reliable dry traction, predictable handling and precise driving experience.

The ZT5 tire is promised to have great aquaplaning resistance. The grooves are designed in such way that they should effectively pump water out of the contact patch.

The company engineers had to face the tough EU legislation concerning its noise level. And it meets these requirements with the helps of the innovative Pitch Sequencing Technology. The tire performs with minimal noise and thus ensures first-rate comfort.

The Avon ZT5 tire comes with a T speed rate (120 mph) in various sizes ranging from 13 to 15 inches.
